• Day & night, weather, and the solar system
-
Intermediate (Ages 6-9)
Sample Topics:
• Chemical reactions, solubility, and simple lab techniques
• Forces, gravity, light, and energy
• Ecosystems, life cycles, and the human body
• Rocks, weather systems, and Earth processes
-
Advanced (Ages 9-13)
Sample Topics:
• Particle theory, acids & bases, and environmental chemistry
• Newton’s Laws, energy transfer, electricity, and engineering concepts
• Human body systems, genetics, and ecosystems
• Plate tectonics, space science, climate, and sustainability
Each Lesson Includes:
1. 10-Minute Topic Introduction Video
We kick off every class with a high-energy, visually captivating video designed to spark curiosity. By presenting a real-world scientific mystery or phenomenon first, we give students a "hook" that makes them eager to learn the science behind it.
2. Interactive Mini-Lesson
Using a blend of visual slides and guided discussion, we build a solid conceptual understanding. This isn't a lecture; it’s a conversation where students ask questions and connect new ideas to what they already know.
3. Hands-On Experiment
This is the heart of the lab. Students apply concepts through discovery by conducting real experiments. Whether it's testing solubility in Chemistry or exploring Newton’s Laws in Physics, they learn by doing, which builds lasting confidence and critical thinking skills.
4. Science Story
To wrap up, we use a Science Story to reinforce learning through literacy. By connecting technical data to a narrative, we help students internalize complex topics and see how science fits into the broader world.
Extra Practice at Home
For families who want to dive deeper, we provide optional take-home worksheets. these are designed to bridge the gap between our lab and your living room, allowing the discovery to continue after class ends.
