With 1:4 small-group academic classes, students build skills in English Reading & Writing, Math, Science, Public Speaking, French, Chinese, and Fine Arts.
Learning is balanced with Movement & Creativity Studio activities in groups of up to 1:8, including yoga, dance, musical theatre, martial arts, fitness, and more.
With school pickup available and program options until 5:30 PM or 6:30 PM, LWL brings academics, movement, creativity, and homework support together in one convenient after-school experience.

Between school pickup, tutoring, language classes, homework, and extracurricular activities, weekday afternoons can quickly become a rush from one place to another.
LWL brings these experiences together in one convenient after-school program. Children can learn, move, create, complete homework, and develop new skills — while parents spend less time coordinating multiple programs and pickups.

Yes! We offer optional school pickup from select local schools. A minimum of 3 students is typically required to establish a pickup route. We also welcome parent volunteers if we are below our pick-up minimum.
Our school pickup service is provided through a third-party transportation provider with full liability insurance. Vehicles are equipped with booster seats and car seats as required based on your child’s height and weight. Students wear safety vests during transport, and staff pick up students directly at the school’s designated dismissal area.
Staff photo IDs are provided to both school staff and parents for easy identification. Safety is always our top priority.

Arrival times with afterschool pick-up service vary based on school distance and our pickup routes, and may range from 3:00–4:00 PM.

Yes, please bring a nut-free snack for your child each day.

Each week, we offer up to eight subject classes are offered, including:
Reading Focus, Writing Focus, Math, Science, Public Speaking, Art, French, Chinese
We will try our best to accommodate your child’s preferences, however, to ensure the best learning outcomes and maintain a streamlined schedule, our Afterschool Program does not guarantee elective choices. We will place students in non-repeating subjects based on their age and proficiency level.
Please note that any customized sessions or new course requests will be charged at our standard "Subject Enrichment Program" rates. Contact us for further details.

Families can choose between 2–5 days per week. If attending 2, 3, or 4 days per week, the days must be fixed for the term. Partial credit and make-up classes are not available for missed days.

With studio equipment and both guided and self-directed movement options, this time helps kids release energy, reset, and end their day feeling great. For the full Movement Studio experience, we recommend Option B with 6:30 PM pickup, which also includes Monitored Homework Help.

Homework Help is dedicated, supervised time for students to work on their regular school assignments while they are at our program. Teachers are available to provide general guidance, answer questions, and help students stay focused and organized, but this time is not intended to replace one-on-one tutoring or provide intensive academic support.

Our regular after-school program does run on Pro-D days with parent
drop-off but does not run on statutory holidays. We offer day
camps during most school closures. Afterschool families receive:

Families have the option to opt in or opt out of our winter, spring, or summer break programming. Registered families receive priority access and 25% off our daytime seasonal camps and break programs. You are not charged for weeks you do not attend.

Our team includes a mix of licensed teachers, ECE-certified educators, and trained group childcare providers. All staff are trained specifically in our programs, philosophy, and classroom standards.

Yes! Before committing, families may try two classes for $99.

During the first week of the semester, we assess students to ensure they are placed in the right level. After placement, parents receive a syllabus outlining what will be covered over the semester.
Parents will receive midterm and final reports. We provide detailed feedback on what the student has learned, areas of growth, and any challenges. If you have feedback from school or specific areas you’d like us to focus on, please let us know so we can target those needs and support your child’s progress effectively.

Yes. A non-refundable one-month deposit is required to secure your child’s spot.
The deposit can be applied to your final month in the program

We take academics seriously and want students fully supported.
Certain classes require workbooks such as Math Fundamentals,
Phonics & Spelling, Storytelling, Novel Study, Early French, Chinese, and
Public Speaking. These workbooks will be offered to after-school students
for 30% off their regular price.

No. LWL’s After-School Program is an enrichment and education program, not a licensed childcare or care-based program. Your child is engaged in structured lessons and enrichment activities throughout the program, rather than receiving general childcare.
